BELLY a feature length documentary by Full Tilt Boogie, and Cecilia Rinn’s feature directorial debut has been submitted to 5 film festivals for consideration into national film festivals. 'Edges of Tradition' is the newest and most exciting CD from 'PANGIA' offering Traditional, Original and Tribal Belly Dance music. Carmine has been here all week and in addition to 2 shows and a workshop, we are hard at work recording.

'West of East' is a unique selection of PANGIA's wide range: original compositions that include amazing soundscapes of taxims for tribal style, as well as several traditional songs lovingly arranged and updated that dancers will relish performing to. Denise will be continuing Belly Dance classes at College of the Siskiyous for the Spring '07 semester!
Beginning thru Advanced students will be able to take classes twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays beginning Monday January 29. Register for 'Theatre 370/371'.

Carmine was with us in California for over a week and in addition to several shows and workshops, we managed to have quite a few recording sessions. We have begun working on our next CD and we are very excited about it! If all goes well, it should be ready in March!

Carmine T.Guida, drummer extraordinare on Pangia Vol 3 and Dreams, vol 4 will be performing with Pangia here in Northern California and Southern Oregon, Nov 3/4 and 10/11. Check our calendar for specifics.
